January Devotion
Godliness comes from Jesus in us, the Holy Spirit; not from efforts or self-willed power. Any attempt to use godliness as a means for material gain is not genuine godliness at all, but sin. Ministers of the Word should be content with Jesus Himself and Him only!

God is a God of relationship. The bible teaches us that God, from the begining, made us to have an intimate, personal relationship with Him. Creation, the Gospel and the gift of His Spirit for His children prove this….but are we making any effort to get closer to Him?
