OUR STORY

A Walk in the Spirit is the fruit of over 25 years of shared ministry. By the grace, mercy, and calling of our Lord, Suzie and I have served the body of Christ in many capacities—from praise and music, to small groups and Sunday school. Today, we are very grateful that the Lord still is allowing us to continue working for Him in His Kingdom.

With degrees in Theology and Counseling, and a commitment to ongoing doctoral-level study, we dedicate ourselves to intense preparation in prayer and research. We ensure that what we share is biblically sound, doctrinally stable, and spiritually alive.

We never forget where we came from or who we are now: children of God saved by amazing grace. We are travelers on the same "narrow road" as you—constantly working out our salvation with fear and trembling, reliant entirely on the unction and power of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

OUR HEART

We genuinely love and believe that Christ died for ALL.

We believe God has called us to a distinct ministry—blending the heart of a Watchman, the mind of a Teacher, and the fire of a Preacher.

We are constantly watching, waiting, praying, listening, and proclaiming the clarion call of the Lord for our time. We warn, encourage, and report what the Lord has to say IN HIS WORD.

WHAT WE DO: THE THREE PILLARS

We are committed to “Teaching Life in the Word.” Our goal is to move past human tradition and wordly noise to focus on what is truly essential:

1. The Jesus Focus

We center everything on the person and sufficiency of Jesus Christ, as we proclaim His salvation message, teach His Word, and help you grow in relationship with Him as you daily partake of His divine nature.

2. The Scripture Focus

We dive deep into the literal, historical, and cultural nuances of the Bible. Whether you are a beginner or a scholar, we provide the tools to understand the Word in its original setting so it can be applied accurately to your modern life.

3. The Spirit Focus

We believe that truly knowing Jesus is not only possible—it is essential, and it is only accomplished by His Spirit. We cultivate an environment where the Word isn't just learned, but His presence is experienced, leading to a life-altering relationship with “Christ-in-you” who transforms how you live, work, and love.

​​The Apostolics Of Grace - Statement of Faith (WHAT WE BELIEVE)

Our faith and convictions are rooted in the timeless truths of Scripture. We believe that a clear understanding of these foundations is essential for a life-altering relationship with Jesus Christ.

1. The Holy Scriptures (Scripture Only) We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God and the final, supreme authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. We do not just read the Word; we honor Jesus as the living Word of God. God has fully spoken—revealing who He is, who we are, and His plan for us—requiring no extra-biblical manuals or human traditions.

2. The Nature of God and the Indwelling Spirit (Jesus Only) We believe in one eternal God who has fully revealed Himself as Father, through His Son, and as the Holy Spirit. He is our Savior, Justifier, Foundation, and the very Power of holiness. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh—fully God and fully man—in whom dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, serving as the perfect bridge between Creator and creation. By His Spirit, He is Christ in us, the hope of glory, living out His life through His people.

3. The Foundation of Grace (Grace Only) We believe that everyone has sinned and needs a Savior. Salvation is the unmerited gift of God’s grace that spans the entire journey—from creation and salvation to ongoing sanctification and final glorification. It is received through faith alone, based solely on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, completely unearned by human performance.

4. The Response to the Gospel (New Birth in Christ) The Gospel is the Good News of the birth, sinless life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We respond to this truth through:

  • Repentance: Turning from sin to God.

  • Water Baptism: Being buried with Him through baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

  • The Holy Spirit: Receiving His indwelling presence to walk in newness of life.

5. The Fruit and Power of the Spirit (The Christian Walk) We believe in the active, empowering presence of the Holy Spirit today, including spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues as the Spirit wills. However, we recognize that true spiritual power is displayed through grace-filled, holy living, where the ultimate and defining evidence of the Spirit's indwelling is the production of the fruit of the Spirit in daily life. Because of Christ in us, true worship is an obedient and joyful life that honors God in everything we do—from the sanctuary to the workplace.

6. The Blessed Hope We believe Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. There will be a final judgment for all, and our hope is anchored entirely in the finished work and righteousness of Christ as we rely on His power in us to endure and look forward to His return.
